Harbour Park Amusements Littlehampton Seafront

Positioned right on the Littlehampton seafront is the Harbour Park Amusement complex. Here you'll find family fun and amusements for all weathers, with some of the attractions indoors. With a real traditional funfair edge, Harbour Park's funfair rides include a Waltzer, Dodgems, Galloper Ride, Castle Slide, Trampolines, the Barrel Ride and the Big Apple Coaster. Plenty of choice of rides for all ages.

Indoor fun includes a skating rink and a huge family arcade plus a new Indoor Cannon Ball Play Zone and a Caterpillar Roller Cooaster both of which are great for tots. Fast food and ice cream outlets plus the Harbour Park Cafe and Gallery Restaurant/Tea Rooms are on-site as is ample car parking space. Plenty of grassy areas afford ample space for family picnics. Award Winning Blue Flag Littlehampton Coastguards Beach

A Blue Flag Award Winner, Littlehampton's large shingle beach is perfect for families and at low tide a huge expanse of sand appears.

A safe swimming area operates where no watercraft are allowed and a Kids Care scheme with free colour coded wristbands which are linked to beach zones is also in operation here on this family friendly beach. The sand and shingle beach has flat level access off the promenade and ample facilities available adjacent including the East Beach Cafe and choice of restaurants and fast food outlets at Harbour Park. The East Beach stretch is most popular with families whilst towards the west and pier watersports like windsurfing and kitesurfing are popular. An RLSS Beach Lifeguard service is in operation.

Littlehampton Seafront Mini Road Train & Oyster Pond Boating

Littlehampton's Mini Road Train, which you won't fail to spot if you're on Littlehampton Beach in the Summer season, runs the full stretch of the promenade. Pick up points are at The Foreshore Station and just east of the funky cave shaped East Beach Cafe on the eastern esplanade.

The Road Train runs from April to October, Tel.01243 553750 for train times, although generally it runs a non-stop service back and forth.

As you enter the Harbour Park Amusement complex just off the Arun Parade alongside the river you'll spot the Oyster Pond, a popular spot for gentle boat hire. The pond has a long history in Littlehampton and was once used by fisherman to store oysters - hence its name.

Littlehampton Swimming & Sports Centre & Outdoor Recreations

Situated just off the Sea Road and Eastern Esplanade on Littlehampton Seafront is the Indoor Littlehampton Swimming and Sports Centre, plus a choice of outdoor recreations in the park areas nearby including Putting and Tennis.

The indoor sports centre includes a large main swimming pool and teaching pool with disabled access. Also inclusive is a state of the art Tone Zone Fitness Studio, Badminton courts, 5 a side Football and Table Tennis.

Around the Sports Centre is Norfolk Gardens where you'll find a host of outdoor activities including 9 hole Pitch & Putt and Adventure Golf, a Bowls Green, all weather tennis courts, a cafe and restaurant and a Miniature Railway. A boating lake is here too. Ample parking is adjacent and Norfolk Gardens attractions are conveniently just off the seafront. The on-site miniature railway takes you to pretty Mewsbrook Park. For an 18 hole golf putting green and 12 hole crazy golf course head to Western Putting on the Seafront at Banjo Road a little further along the prom from Norfolk Gardens.
