Woodside B&B is a tranquil rural retreat set near the pretty village of Cripps Corner in the picturesque High Weald area of East Sussex, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The property is conveniently located close to the popular tourist destinations of Battle, Robertsbridge, Rye, Bodiam, Tenterden, Goudhurst and Tunbridge Wells and only 15 minutes from the seaside resorts of Hastings and Camber Sands. The surrounding area is steeped in history and boasts an array of historic castles, houses and places of interest.

Woodside B&B is a bespoke designed residence built in a Gothic Victorian style and completed in 2005. The property stands in ten acres of paddock and ancient bluebell woods, making this an idyllic base from which to explore the surrounding area. The property has large airy rooms and includes a home cinema with 9 foot screen and a sumptuous private health suite, for use by our guests. Expect a warm welcome on your arrival, followed by a hot drink and some delicious home made cake served in your room, on the terrace or in the comfortable guest lounge.

Rooms Description

Woodside B&B offers two luxurious en-suite guest rooms - the Gothic Suite (Sleeps 2 adults plus 2 children if required) and the Cream Room (Sleeps 2 adults). Each is complete with a complimentary hospitality tray of goodies including, but not limited to, mineral water, biscuits, fruit, chocolates and flowers and a luxury toiletries basket and a mini bar. The Gothic Suite features a seven foot water bed and en-suite slipper bath whilst the Cream Room has a king size canopied bed. In room facilities include tea and coffee making equipment, hair dryer, clock radio and TV with DVD and Sky channels, shaver points.

Specialities

We are a non smoking residence but guests are welcome to smoke in the gardens and grounds. We specialise in catering for families, walkers & Cyclists and in providing speciality and celebration breaks with cakes, decorations, romantic meals etc. We are "foodies" who love and take a pride in providing gourmet breakfasts (we have been awarded the 2010 Breakfast Award for outstanding breakfast) and a la carte evening "banquets". We now have a license to provide a selction of aperatifs, wine, champagne, spirits and cocktails. Please see our website for full details of what we offer, and an extensive photo gallery.
