Coastguard Cottage is a 4 star self catering property on the West Sussex Coast. Although Coastguards Cottage is nearly 300 years old, with all of the charm of a period property, it has been beautifully renovated and refurbished throughout. The kitchen has the original flagstone floor, fridge, double range style gas cooker, dishwasher and butlers sink. Appliances include large Dualit toaster and microwave, with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses for family meals. We provide a cool box, large thermos flask and plastic ware for picnics.

Recently refurbished and offering a high standard of self catering accommodation this lovely cottage stands just minutes from the beach in the quiet village of Aldwick. The village itself has a great local butcher and a general store to stock up on those provisions. Just 2 miles West of Bognor Regis and 6 miles from Chichester with it's Cathedral and world famous theatre. Both motor and horse racing events are held regularly at nearby Goodwood and there are opportunities to enjoy sailing, golfing, nature reserves, birdwatching and a string of hidden villages and traditional pubs to explore and enjoy.

Accommodation comprises 3 bedrooms, one large kingsize with single bed, 1 double and 1 twin bedroom. A comfortable lounge with large open fire and flatscreen TV, Digibox and DVD player is the ideal place for a cosy winter stay. A spacious, well equipped kitchen with original flagstone floor and Belfast sink and all modern appliances leads to a light dining area with table and patio leading to the well kept courtyard garden with gas barbecue.

Specialities

We provide a welcome basket of basic groceries and all the beds are made up for your arrival with crisp white bed linen and fresh towels. Upon request, we can provide a travel cot with bedding, high chair, 3 wheeled buggy and some toys and DVDs suitable for children.
