Stable Annexe self catering holiday accommodation caters for up to four people in the picturesque village of West Marden on the South Downs, close to Chichester in West Sussex. The property is set in a rural location and benefits from panoramic views of the surrounding countryside which can be enjoyed from the charming patio area outside. The village is host to an excellent range of amenities, including a great pub serving a range of beers and superb food, the quality of which we are only too happy to vouch for! A small shop and post office, playground and tennis court can be found in the village of Compton, less than a mile away.

A huge network of footpaths and bridleways run from the property and the area is abundant with wildlife, Deer, Foxes, Badgers and Buzzards can be seen regularly from the garden. There are plenty of attractions to be found within easy reach of the Stable Annexe, among them the beaches at Wittering and Hayling Island, National Trust properties at Uppark and Petworth House and sailing in Chichester Harbour and the Solent. Day trips are possible to the Isle of Wight, New Forest, Southampton, Brighton and Guildford. The Stable Annexe accommodates four people over two floors. On the ground floor is the kitchen with granite worktop, dishwasher, microwave and fridge. On this floor there is also the dining area and lounge with a tiled floor and 'Persian' rug. The dining table seats four and looks out over the paddock and neighbouring farmland. The lounge area is complete with electric 'woodburning' stove, flatscreen LCD TV, DVD, radio and CD player. Upstairs there is one twin and one double bedroom and a bathroom with shower over bath. A welcome pack is provided at the start of your holiday and this contains all the essentials that you will need to get yourself started, including a bottle of wine and a local newspaper.
