This AA awarded 5 star Georgian fronted hotel is ideally situated on Rye’s High Street. Having been refurbished in 2005 the White Vine House is now one of Rye’s Premier Bed and Breakfasts. Here you can expect in the morning we'll help you start the day off right with a hearty breakfast served in our Elizabethan dining room. At the White Vine House we take personal interest in your comfort and relaxation. Why not unwind in our Oak- Panelled lounge; the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the High Street and a great vantage point to watch the world go by. On colder days we light the fire and everyone is welcome. The comfy leather sofa is a favourite spot but be warned, it’s the one place at the White Vine House that cannot be booked! We want you to enjoy our quiet corner of England and we look forward to being your hosts soon.

Perfectly set in Rye we are near to many sites and outdoor attractions. For those who enjoy the outdoors visit Rye Harbour Nature Reserve where you can observe wetland wildlife and venture on coastal paths. Cycling, kite surfing, swimming and water sports are other action packed activities in the surrounding area. If you are looking for more of a relaxing holiday why not go to one of the local Spas or stop by the Rye Golf Club for a laid back, casual game. Camber and Rye Castles provide amusement for the history buffs amongst you, as do the history and ghost tours of Rye. For those travelling through or wanting to visit further afield it is about a two hour drive from The White Vine House to either London or France.

Rooms Description

All of the seven guest rooms at the White Vine House have been refurbished and include period furniture, heavenly beds and crisp linen sheets. Each has a contemporary en-suite bath or shower stocked with locally-made, organic toiletries and fluffy towels. Flat panel televisions, DVD players, free Wi-Fi for our guests, iPod docking stations and generously-stocked hospitality trays are only a few of the considerations that we provide. We also want you to feel free to ask if we can provide you with anything else to make your visit even more comfortable. We provide a variety of rooms sizes including a single, doubles, and family room.

Specialities

We also have a restaurant and cafe on the ground floor where you can take lunch or dinner. The restaurant is split over two dining rooms, the Georgian and the Elizabethan. You can rent the rooms for private parties and functions. Here at the White Vine House we are licensed for civil ceremonies and specialise in small, intimate celebrations.
