For those wishing to get out and about, the house is situated close to Rye Harbour nature reserve and Petts levels, ideal for birdwatchers. A pleasant drive will take you to Battle, Hastings, Bodiam Castle and the gardens of Great Dixter and Sissinghurst and much more. Closer to home, you'll find a 15 minute walk takes you to two traditional pubs, both serving good food and drink.
