Saxons Cottage and B&B sits between the villages of Sharpthorne and Horsted Keynes. Close to Ashdown Forest in an area of outstanding natural beauty with immediate access to footpaths and the Bluebell Railway. A short drive takes you to many National Trust houses and gardens to spend the day exploring. East Grinstead is the nearest town with a selection of restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and shops. There are many good pubs in the nearby villages serving evening meals and real ales. For the more sporting, you'll find golf, tennis, horse riding, swimming and cycling opportunities available locally.

Rooms Description

Saxons Cottage offers both self catering and a B&B service. The cottage is situated in a self contained wing of the main house and accommodates 2 adults. Consisting of a large double bedroom with en-suite facilities and country views, large living room, dining table, American kitchen with all appliances and patio doors leading onto private terraced area with seating and BBQ. Bed and breakfast is available in a choice of three rooms all with en-suite facilities or private bathrooms. All rooms have tea/coffee making, hairdryer and alarm clock radio. Breakfast is served each morning using free range eggs, home made jams and breads and locally sourced quality meats where possible.

Directions

From the M23 take junction 10 towards East Grinstead. At the Duke's Head pub roundabout, turn right onto B2028 through Turners Hill. After one mile, turn left to West Hoathly and Sharpthorne. As you leave Sharpthorne turn right into Horsted Lane, where Saxons is one mile along on the right.
